What do you guys think of a 14 year age gap?

Nikhita, of the five answers you've received as of now, the only one I agree with is Lalala's comment about being mature. That's a big IF! The thing is, and please forgive me if I either hurt your feelings or insult you, but I seriously doubt that you're mature enough to really know what you want. To many young girls an older man seems more interesting and desirable because he IS more mature and usually has more experience with life than an 18 year old girl. The trouble is often the fascination wears thin when you've gained a few years of experience yourself. I've seen cases where the girl has actually become more mature than the man and the man seeks another younger girl that he can impress. Since i don't know either of you, I cannot offer anything like an accurate appraisal of your relationship, but judging only upon statistics, your chances are far less than average that you'll make a successful pair. I truly am sorry, and ask you to remember that I may very well be wrong, but if I were you, and had the self control to wait a few years before you make a final commitment, the chances are, if you still feel the same, it should work. Fourteen years isn't such a large age gap if, and that's the key word, both people are mature and really know what they want. Good luck! Either way, I wish you all the best.
