How to delete a primary partition?

I have windows 7 ultimate and i also created an empty primary partition separately. Now my problem is- i want to delete the primary partition but how? I read somewhere that using xp disc by booting and deleting the partition my problem will be solved. But when i use xp disc and delete the partition during setup, windows 7 won't boot next time. I used recovery disc of 7 but no use. The only way is to install xp in a partition and then use the system recovery disc to get windows 7. Even then the primary partition won't get deleted because it is as xp drive. But i don't want two os. I just want to use windows 7. For your information, i have the 7 partition, a logical ntfs partition and that unnecessary primary partition. I want delete that last one. Help me, plz.

Can I legally tell the father of my 6 mth old son he cant attend a doctors appointment?

The father of my son wants to attend one of my sons doctors appointments. My son is 6 months old and up until this point his dad has not been too involved. We have joint custody but I am his primary guardian. His dad gets him for a total of about 12 hours a week. I pay for his medical insurance and have released that information to my sons father along with anything else he asks for, but do not want him attending this appointment with me do to the fact that we cannot be civil with one another. The appointment is on my time with my son. I told him that he is more then welcome to call his doctor and ask any questions he may have or to set up his own appointment. Legally can I keep him from attending?

What a miserable way to think of our own nation. I'm 38 and yes, this country has changed in many ways since I was a child, but it's often been for the better. I grew up in a slum in the East End of London with no heating or hot water. I spent the first 16 years of my life living in three rooms with 7 other people. That doesn't happen today. As for the immigrants, most of them are white Europeans who are as entitled to live here as we are in mainland Europe. (Two million Britons live in Spain alone and if that isn't mass immigration as far as the Spanish are concerned, I don't know what is). As for our traditions being "long gone" that again is not true. St George's day is celebrated almost everywhere in England and if you go to almost any rural village on May Day there are celebrations galore! (I now live in a rural village). The crime situation concerns me a lot (being a prison officer) and the lack of respect youngsters have for their elders. The figures actually suggest that crime has been falling steadily since the mid 1990s and that we are less violent now than at almost any other time in our history. You need facts, not Daily Mail scare stories. Our nation is not what you think it is (nor as miserable as you obviously are about the situation).

I feel unappreciated at home?

I'm the youngest of my family and the mother side of my family. I'm Chinese. I'm a girl. If you know the typical Chinese customs, then you should know that women and children do not invoke much respect from the family (as compared to older men). It just hurts that when I'm at gatherings for the mother side (which is often) no one talks to me but my sister. The older cousins talk to my sister more and I feel really lonely there. Whenever I talk to some older cousins, they give me one sentence replies and talk to someone else. I just feel that even though I know that my older cousins deserve more praise than I do (since they're older and have accomplished more) I still deserve some praise because I do well in school and I know that I'm just as capable as them and I know that if I was the older girl cousin or the youngest boy cousin, I'd get attention too but I'm neither. What if my kids aren't living with my ex even though she has primary custody?

My ex has primary custody, I get my 1st, 3rd, and 5th weekends. From what my kids tell me, age 6 and 9, their mother isn't living with them any more. Job too good to quit & too good to stay! to quit a very stressful job for health, marriage, kids, etc.?

job 18 years, doing the job of at least 2 people, not a hard job--just a very stressful job! I start getting mentally & physically sick on Sunday just dreading Monday mornings! I cant seem to even enjoy the weekends knowing how short they are! My house stays a wreck, I have stopped cooking, I am tired or screaming all the time, etc. I make good money & in fact, I am the primary bread winner. I am also on 2 antidepressants and 2 BP meds! We are not a materialistic family. Our biggest expense is private school for our twin boys (10 years old). I do think that with very statigic planning that we my be able to continue with private school. I dont expect staying at home to be a 'walk in the park'. In fact, I expect it to be harder but way more rewarding and hopefully more enjoyable. I dont want to exchange one set of worries for another though. Very very valid. I have always wondered this myself. Also I have wondered why in my town of about 2500 people do we have like 9 christian churches and 6 are Baptist at least. When Jesus walked the earth he brought everyone to one central place, all who would hear and spoke. Not to a fancy building with people of your choosing or that you like or who had the best band or most charismatic preacher. If a man walked by and hear his words it didn't matter of what creed he was, he was welcomed to hear. Nowadays its a task just to find a church to go to by standards when truly if everyone came together as a whole it would most likely be beneficial. No fancy building or band or high tech electronics or bathing pool needed. My opinion.

My so-called "friend" is doing everything I am doing for her to become better than me.?

So I have this "friend" since I was in 10th grade. She always wants to be with me even though I don't really want to be with her that often. But somehow, as time went by, we became close with each other together with some of my other friends. So later on we had this circle where I and her belong. Since then, she has been doing and imitating everything I am doing, asks questions and asks for help in different school works, etc. Since I used to think we really were friends, I helped her. But eventually, after a while, I felt as if she is just using me to get her grades higher, or worse, become better than me. Throughout 10th grade, our average grades were very close with each other and after 10th grade I was the top of the class and she was the second. Now, I really think she is already trying her very best to become better than me and overlap me by using me. Lately, since I was in a different section, when I ran for president in my section, she also ran for the same position in her section and we both won in our respective sections. Also lately, when I ran for a position in the student body, after like a day or two, she also ran for the same position. Everytime I am campaigning, she is always by my side even though I am already avoiding her so that she can also approach the people I'm campaigning. So again, we both won. Now, I just discovered about an hour or so, that she also enrolled in the same tutoring school I was enrolled in so that everything I will learn there, she will also learn. I am really pissed on her already. I decided to really completely stay away from her but if I do, I will also sacrifice my other friends because I will have to stay away from them. So I would just like to ask, what should I do to stop her from always imitating me? I am afraid to tell her directly because I know she will make rumors about me. Don't let other people feed, comfort, bathe, or provide for any of her other major needs except for you and your husband. Hi i have this problem with my internet connection often...?

I went to the emergency room last week and one of the nurses said that my pupils were two different sizes ...which they never had been before. Navy Corpsman - Fleet Marine Training+Duties?

I just recently signed on to the US Navy to be a Hospital Corpsman. I didn't want a job in a hospital somewhere, so I signed on to be a Fleet Marine (my first choice in the military was to be a Marine). I know this requires me to serve in combat situations as first response medical to combat wounds as well as other, simpler issues. That was one of the primary reasons I signed on for this rating. I was curious what the specific training is for this rating and what I can expect in the field once I am assigned to my Marine unit. I have read many conflicting reports as to where training will take place (I know "A" School is at Great Lakes, IL, however I am confused as to where "C" School will take place. I have heard Camp Pendleton, Camp Lejeune or a Camp in TX). As to the "what to expect in the field" element of the question, is it more likely that I will be in a field hospital on the front lines, or will I actually be in the bush with the Marines doing recon or being involved in other combat situations?

Anole Help! Are there any bugs or something to clean anole poop?

My dog will not stop peeing indoors and in my bed?

My husband and I are preparing to move out of state so I can pursue medicine. (Ironic) He will be without a job and he's the primary income. So I downloaded steam, made my username my real name, and downloaded team fortress 2. I have no idea how to find my childhood friend?

Me and my childhood friend went to the same primary school until i moved away during the 3rd grade(2004). Very very valid. I have always wondered this myself. Also I have wondered why in my town of about 2500 people do we have like 9 christian churches and 6 are Baptist at least. When Jesus walked the earth he brought everyone to one central place, all who would hear and spoke. Not to a fancy building with people of your choosing or that you like or who had the best band or most charismatic preacher. If a man walked by and hear his words it didn't matter of what creed he was, he was welcomed to hear. Well, I have a Macbook, OSX Snow Leapord. Awhile ago I used iPhoto to put pictures on my iPhone. Thus removing my photos form my computer. A while ago I moved iPhoto library to an external hard drive to make space, and now I've moved it back. However, when I open iPhoto, it still tells me I have no pictures. I think I may have created anotherfile or something that iPhoto is going to pull from, which is empty, or somethign like that. I also have the pictures on my iPhone if that can help me, but whenever I use like iphoto or the image grabber for Macs it just takes off the pictures I took with my camera on my phone. Thanks in advance for the help, and for not telling me to just go "Buy a PC" as it is not only obnoxious, but also fails to solve the problem.

Question about my new puppy and one year old dog...?

My puppy is 8 weeks old, and our older, one year old dog came with us to pick her out. The two got along immediately, but I've found that now, about a week in, the older dog will occasionally "pick fights" with the puppy, going over and stealing her chew toy or nipping her on the tail or deliberately jumping on her- the puppy immediately gets defensive and growls and nips. We supervise the two when they are together and there's a definite difference between play and fighting. The two dogs have separate areas: our puppy has taken over the small office that's attached to our kitchen and the older dog has the family room (also attached to the kitchen but on the opposite side of the room). The dogs have their own crates in their own areas as well as their own food that we keep in their respective areas. The two dogs cannot access each others space without supervision and the only time they interact is in the kitchen. What can I do to show my older dog that this younger puppy is not a threat?

I need a faster hard drive?

I have a 7200 rpm hard drive its 1 tera and the windows index says its a 5.9 score everything else is a 7.6 or 7.8 score i have an amd x6 black series prossesor oced to 4.02 with easy tunes and my mobo is a ud3h gygabyte board is has all types of hard drive hook ups. i only have a single 4 gig stick of ram but usually dont use it all i know i need 3 more sticks. and i have a 900/1000peek psu and a amd radeon 6870 video card only one not xfire. every once in a while my pc will freeze while starting up but thats due to the ocing and i like my games running with good fsp at max graphics. i also have all 6 cores unlocked and windows starts with all 6 running that may also cause the freezing . i have windows 7 64 bit ultimate. but my hard drive is still slow and i feel its causing my pc to bottleneck. My question is im wanting at least a 1 terabyte hard drive but the only thing i see thats even faster than 7200 is the 10000 and there only like 80 gig and $300 and on up. im hoping to find some help on a good hard drive thats fast but also affordable if needed i can get an 80 and make it my primary and use the terabyte for a sec.thanks a bunch for any help on my problem

Puppy peed on rug for attention and sleep question?

My dog is house trained so let's get that clear and don't start a silly argument about it please.. I was on my computer doing some work my mom was on the computer on Facebook and my dad was watching TV.. Why self realization is important?

Very thorough and well written. I think that self realization is very important seeing as how self sacrifice is entry level Christianity. That being said, the ones who "fight" in the name of God the most, approaching people as if they are superior to them (though they're believers of God) are actually going against the Bible thus contradicting themselves. The ones with the highest stage of realization understand that everyone is created equal and that no one is superior to another person no matter what their public stature or "rank" is. However, seeing as how I am of the Christian faith, I know that we (as Christians) are not to necessarily "fight" in the name of God, stressing that our religion is the greatest of all, but we are suppose to be witnesses of God's glory (in our perspective) while also respecting the views/beliefs/opinions of others. I'm sorry, I don't depend on family to watch my children. I am picky about them being in a daycare too, only because of one bad experience with my son. Here in my state we have a program called the downeast partnership for children. They help with a lot of things, including help paying for daycare. It's nice that your family and your in laws love you and they will love your kids, but I would rather do the daycare. I feel like I burden my mother when she watches my son, which I am not, and she doesn't watch him that often because she is busy. I just feel like I burden anyone with watching him, or I don't feel comfortable because of the other children not knowing how to share and wanting to fight. But I do know that with daycare he will be closely monitored and taught how to share and learn things, and go on little trips, and bring me home drawings. I am not trying to put down your idea of having family watch your children, but it's nice when my baby gets off the daycare van and has a picture to put on the fridge. I'm just saying, do some research when the time comes and find out if you can qualify for assistance with daycare. (I'm pretty sure you would) You have a while to think about it.

Unzipped a .rar file, and now I've got problems.?

I've downloaded a Torrent (Garry Kasparov's How to play the Najdorf vol. 1) (And I torrented because I couldn't find a supplier to buy from before you complain!) And It's torrented successfully as a .rar file. I've unzipped it using Winrar. However because it's a chess video, it should have a chess base viewer alongside the video of Garry Kasparov with his commentary, playing out the moves which he is talking about. When I've opened the rar file these 'Chess files' Which seem to be all the respective parts of the actual chess viewer part of the download as a whole, are all the individual bits. I need them together with the Avi File of Garry kasparov and his commentary, but I can't figure out how to effectively 'Join the Avi file with the Chess base bits' if you see what I mean. I'm trying to average a set of ongoing number entries in excel. I have 14 and growing columns(days of input) of 24 rows(hours data is recorded) and a 25th row to average all the rows above it for a daily average(example: =AVERAGE(D3:D26)). Then I am trying to average the daily averages for an overall total average (Example: =AVERAGE(28:28)). My problem is that my unfinished columns that will be filled eventually cause a #div/0 code in their respective daily averages, and it reflects to the overall total average and also gives a #div/0 code. What formula can I use to get correct results? Thank You.
